The 20th extraordinary General Assembly of Danah Al Safat Foodstuff Company convened on Monday 07/04/2008 at 10:30AM at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry - Hall A, presided by the Chairman, Mr. Youssef Al Sakabi, with presence percentage of 82.99%. The General Assembly approved the items listed on the agenda, the most important of which was the approval on giving the Board of Directors the right to make and execute any acts and loans, and complete mortgage procedures. The General Assembly also approved on making a corporate capital increase from KD 23.100.000 to KD 28.875.000, and forming an independent Fatwa and Shariah Supervision Committee of Islamic Shariah specialists nominated by the Board of Directors. Al Raya International Consulting and Training was chosen to perform Shariah supervision, consultation and auditing.
